FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: screw with flat head consists of cylinder rod (2) and in essence of conic flat head (4) with at least two edges (15) on lower side. Each edge (15) defines an end of partial surfaces (10) on a lower side, each located on not-concave surface of rotation. Each partial surface (10) has its proper axis (12) not coinciding with axis (6); axis (12) is inclined relative to axis of the rod at incline angle α.
EFFECT: improved cutting or arresting action of screw without essential changes of its geometry.
