FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of materials by cutting and can be used in production of cyclo-palloid engagement using milling tool. Tool contains a holder, on which several first cutting plates are fixed. Holder comprises a clamping portion and a head protruding radially relative to the clamping portion in the region of the front end, and comprises seats for first cutting plates distributed along circumference extending outward in radial direction beyond holder head in at least regions, where radially most points of first cutting plates in each case lie on common circle, central point of which lies on holder central axis. On upper side of head there are several first partially conical surfaces lying on common imaginary first enveloping cone, imaginary vertex of which lies on holder central axis and surface line of which forms first angle with orthogonal plane aligned orthogonal to holder central axis. On the end side of the head of the holder facing away from the clamping section opposite to the upper side, there are several second partially conical surfaces.
