SUBSTANCE: freezer resistant to frost formation includes freezing chamber, door, cooler and drier. Cooler dries the air inside cooling chamber from the first temperature inside this chamber immediately after closing the door to the second constant temperature during cooling period. Drier is arranged inside freezing chamber and chosen for absorption of moisture from freezing chamber with the speed which is enough for decreasing the relative humidity inside freezing chamber to the value which is sufficiently low to prevent frost formation inside freezing chamber at constant temperature. In control method of frost formation in refrigerator the air is cooled inside freezing chamber to constant temperature at the first relative humidity. Warm air and moisture is admitted to freezing chamber. Air is cooled again inside freezing chamber to constant temperature. At the same time, air relative humidity is decreased inside freezing chamber.

EFFECT: avoiding extra power consumption and related costs.
