FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: procedure for determination of inertia moment in steam-turbine and gas-turbine units consists in installation of disk with reference inertia moment on end of shaft of turbine unit rotor. Inertia moment is determined as ratio of product of angular acceleration of system of rotating weights in system " disk with reference inertia moment, turbine unit" by inertia moment of disk with reference inertia moment to difference of angular acceleration of system of rotating weights "turbine unit" and angular acceleration of system of rotating weights "disk with reference inertia moment, turbine unit".

EFFECT: raised efficiency of test of steam-turbine and gas-turbine units.
