FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method includes data acquisition from drainage plant and its transmission from control station to dispatch station via wireless communication channels. Receiving-and-transmitting equipment and data acquisition system is powered from power supply consisting of ground current converter and energy storage unit connected by means of one of the inputs to ground current source and by means of the other to ground electrode; ground housing of drainage plant can be used as ground electrode. Capacity of power storage unit of power supply is calculated on the basis of monitoring of ground current and voltage level.

EFFECT: higher protection reliability of underground utilities.
