SUBSTANCE: stand for simulating the operation of electrochemical protection systems includes the hardware, made in the form of a table with two functional levels, placed on the base, and an automated workplace, including a personal computer with application software, made on the basis of a serial subsystem for monitoring and controlling electrochemical protection means, at the same time, the hardware includes an upper functional level, made in the form of a large-scale mock-up of an industrial facility with landscape elements, technological facilities, protected structures, elements and means of electrochemical protection, and a lower functional level consisting of cathodic protection impulse converters in the amount of at least three piece, corrosion monitoring subsystem, made on the basis of the interface module of the corrosion monitoring subsystem with measurement boards, and switching panel, including parameter simulators, characteristics and individual elements of the electrochemical protection system, made in the form of a set of interconnected resistances, resistors, control and switching elements fixed on the switching panel, while on the surface of the upper level there are marked places of underground pipelines location, measuring points of protective potential, drainage points, locations of the drainage lines and direction of the current of the drainage protection station, and contact points are provided at each point of measuring the protective potential with the ability to connect measuring equipment, indicators of protective potentials and regulators to simulate a violation of the insulation coating of the pipeline.
EFFECT: stand for simulating the operation of electrochemical protection systems has been proposed.
