FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture. According to the method, compost, soil used for plant cultivation in protected ground is packed into polyethylene gas-permeable packs from LPP (low pressure polyethylene) 60 to 100 mcm thick with volume of 1 to 50 l. Then, they are exposed during 180-240 minutes in atmosphere of gaseous mixture consisting of ethylene oxide (10-20%) and carbon dioxide (90-80%) at pressure of 1.5 to 2.0 bar, temperature of 50°C and humidity of not more than 50%.
EFFECT: method allows increasing treatment efficiency of packed composts and soils in order to simplify and cheapen the disinfection process at observation of high germinating ability of seeds.
