FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of obtaining soil from activated sludge from biological treatment plants. Method includes conducting preliminary laboratory tests to determine the humidity, microbiological indicators – the number and composition of microflora, the number of colony forming units (CFU) of bacteria and micromycetes, as well as the content in the silt of the most dangerous metals – lead, cadmium, zinc, copper, nickel, chromium, mercury, arsenic. After that, depending on the data obtained, activated sludge is processed into soil by simultaneously reducing humidity, reducing the metal content and stimulating the reproduction of actinomycetes and bacteria due to the simultaneous addition of several organic substances to activated sludge: cattle manure, straw, peat, sunflower husk, mineral fertilizer containing nitrogen or their combination, as well as calcium-containing additives – gypsum. After 1.5 months and after 3 months, repeat laboratory tests, if necessary, add one or more of the listed components. Every 3–10 days the compost is stirred for one to three months until the soil is received.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to neutralize and convert activated sludge into wastewater treatment plants, thereby ensuring its secondary use in agriculture.
