METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BATHING SERIOUSLY ILL PERSON OR CARRYING OUT THERAPEUTIC BATH Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61G7/10

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is intended for bathing or carrying out therapeutic baths for seriously ill people with limited abilities in motion both in hospital and under home conditions. Method of bathing seriously ill person or taking baths by said person is performed in the following way: before bathing bed frame is displaced on fixed wheels with respect to bathtub. Bathtub is filled with water and bed frame is returned to previous place. Then patient is undressed, turned onto their side. Rectangular net is passed under patient, patient is turned on back. Edges of rectangular net are fixed on two bars, whose ends are placed into sliders of lifting mechanism. By means of lifting mechanism patient is lifted. After that, detachable bed with mattress is removed, patient in net is lowered into bathtub by means of lifting mechanism. When procedure is over, patient in net is removed from bathtub by means of lifting mechanism, moisture from net and patient's body is removed. Detachable bed is inserted into guides on its previous place. Mattress is put on bed, patient is lowered on it, rectangular net is removed from under patient. Device for realisation of described method of bathing seriously ill person or carrying out therapeutic bath is an object of invention as well.

EFFECT: comfort for seriously ill person increases, level of additional suffering during manipulation with patient's body decreases, labour of servicing stall is facilitated.
