FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to parodontics, and can be used for treating periodontium diseases including chronic generalised periodontitis. That is ensured by removal of dental deposit. It is followed by antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapy by introduction drugs in gingival pockets. Then in 60 minutes after the introduction of the drugs, areas of inflammation are exposed to short-impulse infrared laser of power 20 mWt at the distance 5-10 mm from a mucous membrane of an alveolar process for 1 minute from vestibular and oral surfaces, 1 procedure a day for 7-10 days.
EFFECT: method provides reduced time of treatment to 7 days and increased remission period to 1 year ensured by improved microcirculation and repair processes in periodontium tissues without surgical intervention.
