FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of filtration materials. Proposed method consists in calculating resistance of cermet filtration materials to continuous flow of filtered air. Calculation is performed using the expression representing relationship of double product of filtration layer thickness, filtered air flow rate, square coefficient of cermet filter material pore tortuosity and modified curvilinearity of dynamic viscosity aerosol particles motion to product of porosity and square mean radius of filter material porous channel.
EFFECT: reduced costs, accurate estimation.
