FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming a porous blank of metallic coarsely dispersed powder, sintering the powder blank, creating a nonuniform fine-pore filtering structure due to passing from a rear side of the filtering material a convective flow of aerosol particles of the same metal with size, equal to (0.02-0.2) of mean diameter of pores; mechanically pressing-in with slipping the metallic powder suspension with particle size 0.2-2 micrometers into mouth of power of front and rear surfaces of the filtering material; sintering finely dispersed particles at temperature, being less, than the temperature value of the first sintering stage. In order to provide corrosion resistant properties of material and to increase an efficiency of filtration process a creation of the non-uniform filtering structure is being performed at condition of simultaneous gas-thermic transfer of alloying corrosion resistant metals through the filtering material.
