FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed plant comprises frame supporting stand foundation with horizontal tolls and down coilers arranged on both sides of said frame. Said foundation accommodates support with down coiler housing secured thereon and provided with groove to receive bevel reduction gearbox housing fitted in rolling bearings to turn in horizontal plane and lock said housing to turn down coiler drum aside from foundation and adjust alignment of drum and stand rolls. Reduction bevel gearbox has vertical drive shaft with bevel gear and horizontal output shaft with bevel gear. Said horizontal output shaft supports reduction gearbox housing accommodating shaft running in rolling bearings parallel with shaft with its one extension supporting bevel gear in mesh with gear fitted on said horizontal shaft and its other extension carrying the drum to wind strip in rolling.
EFFECT: reduced crescent and difference in thickness, ease of adjustment and servicing.
