SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining ball powder (BP) for sports-hunting cartridge 30 CARBINE (7.62×33) involves preparation of phlegmatising emulsion consisting of water 6…10 wt %, phlegmatising agents 1 wt %, where phlegmatising agent consists of centralite I 6.5…8.5 wt % and dinitrotoluene 1.8…2.5 wt % in relation to powder weight and hide glue 0.8…1.2 wt % in relation to water; phlegmatising emulsion is prepared at 75…85°C during 20…30 minutes with particle size of 300…800 mcm; but first, water 2.5…3.5 wt % in relation to powder weight is filled to reactor-phlegmatiser; powder, hide glue 0.8…1.2 wt % in relation to water is loaded during mixing in turbulent flow and mixture is heated to temperature of 92…98°C; then, phlegmatising emulsion is drained in one pass and phlegmatisation of powder is performed at temperature of 92…98°C during 50…70 minutes.

EFFECT: obtaining the required ballistic characteristics of ball powder for sports-hunting cartridge.
