FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: system comprises the following: a heat generation facility to supply heat for wood batch drying; a heat exchange facility to transfer heat produced during heat generation, into a gaseous cooling flow to process wood batch; a burning facility to produce CO₂-coolant gas for treatment of wood batch; a module of wood batch processing. The module comprises a central volume, known as a technical volume or a processing volume, and used to dry wood, and input and output gate chambers for wood, installed downstream and upstream the central volume; and a heat facility to dehydrate or condense water vapour extracted from wood in process of drying cycle. The method of heat drying comprises necessary operations in compliance with the invention. The system, according to the invention, is power-saving and safe for environment. Wood intended for drying may be wood of any type, in particular, building saw timber.

EFFECT: possibility to load wood batch using a biothermal procedure.
