FIELD: heating; drying.
SUBSTANCE: method includes processes for removal of free and bound moisture and impregnation that are realised by means of vacuum pulling (vacuumising) cycles in cavity of drying chamber filled with wood by means of its connection to receiver for the time of 0.1-1.0 sec, soaking for time required for establishment of balanced pressure of moisture vapors in drying-impregnation chamber and receiver, wood heating by coolant to average volume temperature of 80-100 degrees C, at that wood drying in cycles is done after wood achieves specified temperature with at least single moistening and impregnation of wood by impregnating liquid (water and/or steam and/or antiseptic and/or fire retardant, etc) with further soaking in every cycle for the time required for wood heating to specified temperature. Nowadays suggested method has been used to perform more than ten processes of timber and logs drying.
EFFECT: method for drying and impregnation of wood does not cause problems in industrial application and provides for high quality of drying.
