FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: umbrella-type antenna consists of the following: remote feed element and opened reflector which includes central assembly with flange on reflector opening side, load-bearing structure hinged to reflector, made in the form of spokes, mechanically connected to net cloth, hub attached to central assembly on opposite side from reflector opening, which is connected in the area of free edge by means of stays with common centre to spokes, and reflector turning and guiding device. The latter consists of two assemblies: the first assembly providing initial turn in space of non-opened reflector through working angle in wide range. At that, its flange is connected to rod end of space vehicle and the second assembly providing the working position after opening of net cloth, specifying the reflector guidance in space in two mutually perpendicular planes through an angle in narrow range. At that, its flange is attached to flange of central assembly of reflector on opening side.

EFFECT: minimisation of pulse values of moments of forces appearing at operation of reflector on orbit, and provision of required stiffness coefficient of space vehicle rod, thus its weight decrease is provided.
