METHOD OF LOCAL DOSED OZONE THERAPY FOLLOWING GALL BLADDER AND/OR BILE PASSAGES SURGERY Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61K33/00 A61K8/23 A61P1/16

Abstract RU 2428191 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to surgery, and can be used for treating and preventing postoperative suppurative complications following gall bladder and/or bile passages surgeries. The method involves insertion of two PVC drainage tubes - inlet and outlet - connected by means a subhepatic space at the completion stage of the surgery in the subhepatic space through a counteropening. From the second postoperative day to the day of removal of the drainage tubes, an ozone-oxygen mixture 80-120 ml with the ozone concentration 10-20 mg/l is introduced daily in the inlet tube at speed 2 ml/sec by means of a disposable Janet's syringe 150 ml. While introducing the first portion 60-80 ml of the ozone-oxygen mixture, an outlet tube clearance is clamped, and the remained portion 20-40 ml is introduced with the outlet tube opened 2-3 minutes later.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows reducing number of suppurative septic complications following gall bladder and/or bile passages surgeries due to increasing the ozonisation multiplicity that provides higher efficacy of the postoperative therapy and reduces the general intoxication events.
