FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely - to physiotherapy and neurology. A method involves exposure to fluctuating currents generated by Adapton Emit-1 apparatus. Signal is injected onto bifurcated electrodes of four pairs of independent chains of the apparatus. The electrodes are placed transversally on forehead and cervical skin, in the field of hands and involved elbow joints. On the first 3-4 procedures, exposure involves alternating current with no amplitude modulation. The following exposure implies pulse signal generation with amplitude modulation and frequencies 57-30 Hz, at current intensity to moderate asynchronous vibration. Length of procedure is 15 minutes. Length of the therapeutic course is 10 days.
EFFECT: method improves patient's quality of life due to improved cognitive functions and cerebral haemodynamics without lowering therapeutic efficiency.
