FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of minerals, particularly, to dressing equipment and may be used for concentration of ore and industrial ferrous and non-ferrous products in fluid medium. Concentrator comprises inclined chamber, settling chamber with separation medium feed appliance, material feed tube adjoining inclined chamber at its center, flow deformers made up of hollow truncated figures arranged along the length of said inclined chamber with their larger bases facing its top end and with clearance with inclined chamber inner surface, and flow formers. Flow formers are arranged between flow deformers and made up of figured overlapping partially cross section of inclined chamber. Note here that deformers and formers are arranged to shift along chamber axis. Inclined chamber features round, rectangular or triangular cross section. Flow deformers and formers feature round, rectangular or triangular cross section.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of dressing, reduced lifting of valuable components in tailings.
