FIELD: concentration of ores containing rare and noble metals. SUBSTANCE: concentrator is used for separation of granular mixtures into fractions according to density. Concentrator has vertical separation chamber provided with flow deforming devices made as sectors of circumference positioned along helical line, along separation chamber through its full length. Concentrator includes branch pipes for delivery of separating medium and unloading of light fraction and branch pipe for feeding of material to be separated.
