PLASTIC DAMPER Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F16F7/12

Abstract RU 2428601 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: case of damper is made as cylinder cartridge with cover and bottom. The bottom of the case has a hole for securing a rod. End external surface of the bottom is equipped with a circular relieving groove. The rod is made in form of a cylinder rod whereon there are mounted a cutting section, a deforming element and an additional damping element. The deformed unit interacts with the deforming unit and internal wall of the case. The deformed unit is made in form of a set of coaxially arranged metal washers alternating so, that generatrix of internal surface of the set corresponds to a stepped curvilinear line equidistant to a profile of the deforming unit. The additional damping element is made in form of a cylinder casing enveloping core of the rod. The cylinder casing is equipped with circular flanges and with grooves arranged on its external surface.

EFFECT: increased specific power absorption and raised reliability and efficiency of damper.
