FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: tuyere contains welded with bottom metallic bushing, gas-intake tube, filling refractory concrete mass, with longitudinal parallel-plate ducts, equalisation chamber and wear indicator, located in bottom part of metallic bushing. Wear indicator is implemented in the form of two coming from the opposite direction top and bottom truncated cones, joined to each other by smaller basis, herewith diametre of major basis of bottom truncated cone is more than diametre of major basis of top cone, at full-height projecting over bottom of metallic bushing of gas-intake tube it is implemented thread, on which it is screwed on nut. Manufacturing of tuyere includes manufacturing of conical bushing with bottom and gas-intake tube, its welding, installation in bushing of brick hollow forming machine for formation of antechamber and channeling strips for formation of longitudinal parallel-plate slot ducts, top and bottom fixation of ends of channeling strips and fixation of wear indicator of refractory concrete mass, layering and vibration compaction of refractory concrete mass with following thermal treatment.

EFFECT: labour-intensiveness reduction of tuyere manufacturing.
