FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to polymer membranes based on compositions including interpolyelectrolyte complexes containing polyaniline in the form of emeraldine and Nation® (DuPont) or MF-4SK (OAO Plastpolimer, Russia, Saint Petersburg), or their equivalents, as well as to the method for obtaining polymer membranes intended to be used in low-temperature or high-temperature polymer fuel element. Membrane material is obtained by pouring of solutions of the above interpolyelectrolyte complexes in mixtures of solvents. Membranes made in such a way can be also treated with organic sulfonic acids or non-organic additives, which leads to protonation of polyaniline, connection of additional sulfo groups.
EFFECT: increasing protonic conductivity of membrane, improving wear resistance, providing much higher working temperatures and improving stability.
