SYSTEM OF FUEL ELEMENTS AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT, WHICH CONTAINS IT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC H01M8/04

Abstract RU 2428770 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: as per the first version, aircraft includes system of fuel elements. System of fuel elements includes fuel element, system of negative pressure. Fuel element includes the first inlet channel, the first outlet channel, cathode side and anode side. The first inlet channel is formed as inlet channel on cathode side. The first outlet channel is formed as outlet channel on cathode side. System of negative pressure ingests gas to cathode side of fuel element by means of negative pressure in the first outlet channel. As per the second version, aircraft includes fuel tank, converter, heat exchanger, water supply system which contains the above system of fuel elements. Direct current/direct current/alternating current converter is used as converter. Heat exchanger has the possibility of heat removal from system of fuel elements. Fuel tank is intended to provide the fuel supply to system if fuel elements. Method for providing the operation of system of fuel elements involves supply to the first inlet channel of gas under pressure, creation of negative pressure in outlet channel of fuel element, ingestion of gas to cathode side of fuel element by means of negative pressure.

EFFECT: decreasing the weight and reducing the consumption of auxiliary electric power.
