SUBSTANCE: methods and systems are disclosed, which ensure conditional assignments to access terminals via resources assigned to other access terminals. Large number of resources that have permanent assignment to other access terminals are processed in order to identify a break in transfers. The resources that may be conditionally used by access terminals are determined, and a signal indicative for such conditionally assigned resources is sent. Access terminals receive a signal and accordingly use the conditionally assigned resources.

EFFECT: increased throughput capacity.
