SUBSTANCE: end of threaded tube connection is equipped on the outside with thread and includes free end part. Protection device includes protective housing in the form of the first coupling, which is designed for protection at least of some part of external thread and free end part. Sealing element of device has the possibility of coming into contact on one side with the above component in the part located at external thread outlet, and on the other hand to protective housing so that the first sealing at thread outlet can be provided. Device also contains attachment devices for movement of sealing element and/or protective housing in radial direction towards external thread located at the outlet, thus determining "open" and "closed" positions of the device, in which sealing element and/or protective housing are without contact and in close contact with external thread located at the outlet. The first sealing is obtained when device is in closed position.
EFFECT: protection device is easily installed and removed without lubrication removal.
