FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of tuyere apparatus and water cooled gas-oxygen burner transferred into air tuyere of blast furnace along its axis through orifice with seal in movable elbow. The water cooled gas-oxygen burner is made of four pipes set one into another with axial symmetry and has four side nozzles. Side nozzles are arranged perpendicular to lengthwise axis of the said burner or at angle to it equal to 45-60°. Outlets of internal and intermediate pipes of water cooled gas-oxygen burner form end nozzles for supply of correspondingly oxygen and gas.
EFFECT: active and timely destruction of deadman on bed of blast furnace resulting in normalisation of gas-dynamic mode in hearth, increased resistance of wall accretion and lining of hearth and water cooled tuyeres.
