FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves construction of double-head horizontal wells, pumping of heat carrier through upper injection well with warming of productive formation and creation of steam chamber, and extraction of products through lower production wall, pickup of thermogram of steam chamber, analysis of the state of its heating for uniform warming and availability of temperature peaks. Considering the obtained thermograms the uniform warming of steam chamber is performed by changing the filtration direction and/or heat carrier pumping modes and extraction of products. Process double-head well is located between injection and production wells at the distance excluding the breakthrough of heat carrier. Thermogram of steam chamber is picked up from two wells; at that, water is pumped to process well from the side of probable heat carrier breakthrough in order to decrease the temperature to allowable temperature in this section to production well, which is observed at synchronous temperature peak on thermograms of steam chamber in both wells.

EFFECT: increasing development efficiency of heavy oil or bitumen deposit.
