PROCEDURE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HEAVY OIL OR BITUMEN DEPOSIT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E21B43/24 

FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in constructing upper pressure well and lower producing well with horizontal sections located one above another, in pumping heat carrier via pressure well, in reservoir heating, in formation of steam chamber, in withdrawing production via producer, in recording thermograms of steam chamber and in analysis of state of chamber heating. Chamber is uniformly heated on base of obtained thermograms by changing heating zones the steam chamber. Horizontal sections of wells are equipped with filters. Pipe strings of "pipe-in-pipe" kind with isolated internal spaces are lowered into the pressure well. Outlet orifices of pipe strings are arranged along length of a horizontal section dividing it into heating zones. At a wellhead each string for heat carrier pumping is equipped with independent pipelines and controlled gates. A shank end of the pump is installed in the producer; the shank end is furnished with valves in form of elastic collars controlled automatically depending on temperature. The collars are filled with material expanded at temperature growth.

EFFECT: reduced financial and material expenditures for development of deposits of heavy oil or bitumen, increased efficiency at deposit development.
