FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method of assembly comprises fitting encased bullet with lead core into encapsulated cartridge with powder charge, bullet geometrical parameters being controlled. First, die and punch are used to arrange lead core cylindrical and front parts equidistant relative to bullet shell. Then, lead core is fitted into shell at force not exceeding shell elastic properties and with shell edges bending. Further fitting of bullet with lead core is performed to pull-out force of 20-45 kg. Geometrical parameters of lead core, shell and shell with lead core fitted therein are controlled after each fitting step.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of fire.
