FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: small arms cartridge consists of an encapsulated case with powder charge and a bullet mounted in it. Bullet consists of cover, slug and lead jacket. Ratio of lengths of front and guide parts of the bullet is equal to 1/1 to 5/1. Bullet s mounted in the slug with envelope and crimping of slug mouth along the perimetre of the guide and along perimeter of head surface of the bullet. Height of annular surface of contact of crimped slug mouth with surfaces of head and guide parts of the bullet is equal to 0.5…1.2 of the gauge.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of fire.
