FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of support frame, of strain gauge head with work member secured to it for destruction of soil sample, of rests for its fixation and of head drive equipped with engine and reducer with output shaft whereon there is attached sprocket connected to sprocket of driving shaft of chain transmission of drive. Also, the device is equipped with a mechanism of cross supply of soil sample including a bearing plate mounted on four friction bearings each attached to lower surface of the bearing plate with a base up. Bearings in pairs are conjugated with two parallel cylinder guides, ends of which are rigidly fixed in supports mounted on a lower beam of the support frame of the bench. Also, a running gear is installed in a middle part of the bearing plate on its lower surface. The gear mechanism is made in form of a bush, on internal surface of which there is made thread interacting with threaded part of a handle; a cylinder part of the handle is set in the support of the lower part of the frame and rotates in it.

EFFECT: complete destruction of soil sample.
