FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment, in particular to equipment for studying the operation of milling working bodies of mining peat machines. The laboratory stand for the study of rectangular and oblique cutting with a peat monolith cutter consists of a column rigidly embedded in the floor with a plate moving along it with installed electric motor that rotates the cutter through a coupling and an intermediate shaft, and a rail track along which a cart with a peat monolith moves, driven by a cable from an electric motor through two gearboxes and a winch, and is additionally equipped with a plate rotation mechanism installed on the end of the column and representing an axis, around which a plate with cutter and a drive can be rotated at an angle from 0 to 45°, which is determined by an angle gauge scale with the possibility of fixing in a given position, an S-shaped tension sensor and a digital strain gauge station/analyzer.
EFFECT: reduction in peat losses during milling due to the possibility of establishing and determining the rational angle of installation of the cutter in the range from 0 to 45°, the expansion of technological capabilities by increasing the accuracy of removing the energy characteristics of the cutter.
