FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of measuring resistance of soils and snow-ice formations to cutting. Stand for measurement of resistance of soils and snow-ice formations to cutting includes a frame, holders installed on it, in which there are fixed strain-gauge beams connected to a holder of a cutting tool. Strain gauge beams are made in the form of an elongated parallelepiped equipped with a through H-shaped slot extended along the beam, and are fixed in the stand as cantilever beams in one plane on one plate. Holders of strain gauges for registration of horizontal and lateral components of cutting force are made with one degree of freedom. Holder of the strain gauge beam for recording the vertical component of the cutting force has two degrees of freedom. On the bench plate there are additionally installed an electric motor, a reduction gear and a gear transmission to drive rotation of the holder of the working element, which is connected to the hub fixed on the plate. On the hub there is a sensor for recording the rotation speed of the working element.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements.
