FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention uses multidigit holographic measure of flat angle, that is, holographic prism that represents crystal with system of superimposed holograms written therein mounted at the center of rotary table, its angular speed being subject to control, and illuminated by coherent laser beam aligned with rotary table axis. Fan of diffracted beams results, said beams running from crystal centers. Crystal plane is perpendicular to reference beam. Angular (annular) scale is produced directly before each measurement by interaction between multicounty indicator with annular scale carrier, that is, panoramic photo electronic receiver.
EFFECT: improved metrological characteristics, higher reliability.
