SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making - laser angular velocity sensors used in navigation systems, and can be used in Sagnac effect-based fibre-optic gyroscopes. The laser fibre-optic angular velocity sensor with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram comprises, arranged in series and optically coupled, a coherent optical radiation source, a beam splitter, an annular single-mode optical fibre, a photodetector and a signal processing unit electrically connected to the photodetector; the circuit includes, in front of the photodetector and arranged in series, an optical lens and a photographic plate with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram, exposed according to the law: 0≤sinQ<d/h, where d<h; Q is the angle between the photographic plate with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram and a reflector placed behind said plate during exposure; h is the normal distance from a point source of coherent optical radiation to the emulsion plane of the photographic plate with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram; d is the distance between the emulsion plane of the photographic plate with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram and the reflector along the normal from the point source of coherent optical radiation to the emulsion plane of the photographic plate with a three-dimensional Fourier hologram.
EFFECT: higher threshold sensitivity of measuring angular velocity.
