SUBSTANCE: system for dynamic deployment of one or more computer systems over a network, wherein said system comprises a processor and memory which encodes instructions which, upon execution by the processor, prompt the processor to create a data base component which includes a plurality of stored data and procedures for manipulating said data, which includes a standby condition which defines the standby condition for one of computer system in a pool of computer systems, a configuration status which defines configuration of a computer system in the pool. Said configurations include a web server, SQL server, search server and a content server, an available state which determines availability of a computer system in a pool, and a deployment status which indicates the deployment status for each of the computer systems in the pool; and a web server component for providing a communication interface between the data base component and the operating system service component.
