SUBSTANCE: invention relates to virtualization environments and can be used to perform data input/output operations, as well as data exchange between several virtual computers. System for performing data input/output operations in a virtualization environment based on a hardware machine comprises a virtual specialized computing device (SCD) for data input/output, connected to several virtual machines, wherein each virtual machine has a guest operating system (OS), and the specialized computing device has a data array storage and comprises several interfaces, each of which has a corresponding operation algorithm, and each of which is connected to the storage of data arrays, wherein each virtual machine has in the guest OS a SCD driver connected to the corresponding SCD interface, and each virtual machine is connected to a specialized computing device with a corresponding interruption line.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities while simultaneously providing high security of transmitting and processing data in a system for performing data input/output operations in a virtualisation environment and a method for operating it.
