FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: patient is laid on his back with his legs stretched; the position is fixed by holding his feet and insertion of a towel from a side of the injury below an axilla. Anaesthesia is followed by grasping a wrist joint of the injured extremity with both hands to make an extension along an extremity axis. The extension is continued smoothly, and the injured extremity is taken aside from a trunk in a frontal plane by 160-170°. Then holding the axilla area with one hand, the injured extremity is brought to the trunk. Reduction of an injured capsule of the shoulder joint and restoration of range of motion are enabled by pressing on the elbow joint along a shoulder axis with rotational motions to 30°.
EFFECT: method prevents neurovascular injures.
