FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves drawing an injured upper extremity of a patient laid on his/her back on a horizontal surface. A wrist of the patient's injured upper extremity is fixed with a traction device, e.g. a belt. The other end of the traction device is attached to a patient's foot of the homonymous lower extremity with a knee and a hip flexed at an angle of 90 degrees of less. The upper extremity is drawn by generating a tensile force controlled by the patient stretching his/her knee.
EFFECT: method reduces the complications accompanying the reduction of the dislocation by preventing an aggravation of the injuries of capsules and ligaments, vessels and nerves.
