SUBSTANCE: in drying method of linen stock, which involves preparation of layer of stems of linen stock, its transportation with simultaneous heated air blowing in the form of the flow restricted as to width, that flow when being moved along stems increases its speed in passage area of middle part of the layer throughout its width owing to changing the cross section area of the layer of stems. At that, volume density of stems in middle part throughout the width of layer is subject to cyclic change.

EFFECT: use of the method will require lower costs for its implementation.
