FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: procedure for corrosion tests consists in saturation of corrosion liquid filling cavity of sealed container with test gas and in periodic wetting samples placed in cavity of container with corrosion liquid. Saturation with corrosion liquid with test gas is carried out at continuous supply of test gas into the cavity of the container and at withdrawal of gas from the container. Also, test gas is supplied to facilitate gas alternately either bubbling through a layer of corrosion liquid or entering a gas cap over corrosion liquid ensuring a specified degree of saturation of corrosion liquid with corrosion active components of gas.

EFFECT: corrosion tests under conditions maximally approximate to conditions of equipment and pipelines operation in corrosion mediums; optimisation of corrosion inhibitor consumption; raised quality of inhibitor protection and increased service life of process equipment.
