SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the test equipment, namely to study the resistance to the effects of rapid temperature fluctuations, and can be used in tests for a thermal shock of space devices. Installation for carrying out tests of resistance to thermal shocks of space devices contains the interconnected cooling and heating chambers with a heater, a container for specimen placement configured to move between the chambers on the pull rod, and a Dewar vessel. Installation is placed on the frame with the ability to move to ensure the replacement of the Dewar vessel and is equipped with temperature sensors in the heating chamber, in the cooling chamber, in the sample container and a liquefied gas temperature sensor, and a test cycle counter, the cooling chamber is connected to the Dewar vessel by an opening in a thermal insulating tube located inside the Dewar vessel and on which, with the possibility of replacement and placement with interference, the Dewar vessel equipped with a controlled evaporator is installed.
