FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for estimating fire system efficiency and determining parameters of combat control in computer-based ACS of force units. In compliance with proposed method, parameters of destruction zone of local fire units are used to define parameters of spatial integral destruction zone of fire units group to simplify determining spatial and time characteristics of target with respect to fire unit zone and to increase efficiency of target selection at the level of fire detachments. Obtained integral zone allows defining target trajectory in said zone, time of target crossing said zone, time of target entry into and exit from said zone, selecting target in due time, that is, to allow destructing target at destruction zone boundary with due allowance for limited target height and parameter processing possibilities.
EFFECT: computer-aided target selection.
