FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: echo signals from reflector in scanning the specimen flat surface are registered. Multi-frequency holograms are calculated from echo signals and hologram spatial spectrum is calculated to calculate directional diagram. Note here that echo signals are registered in combined mode from semispherical specimen bottom. For this scanning is performed for two coordinates and arbitrary sections of three-dimensional directional diagram is calculated. In compliance with another version, echo signals are registered in combined mode from cylindrical specimen bottom. For this scanning is performed for one coordinate to calculate single sections of three-dimensional directional diagram.

EFFECT: elimination of reverberation noise influence, simplified sample signal to be processed.
