FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method to control movement of a mobile unit in performance of agricultural processes consists in determination of a route for laying a single-conductor cable of a power transmission line from a resonant power supply system. During the method realisation, the nature of distribution and value of electric field intensity are estimated along the cable installation route. Then the cable installation route is linked to reference points on a cultivated land plot. Afterwards the resonant power supply system cable electric field intensity value is found in the point of the mobile unit location. Then coordinates of the mobile unit location in space are calculated. The produced coordinates are used to generate actions for control of the mobile unit movement. The movement control device comprises a single-conductor power transmission line of the resonant power supply system, a sensor of movement trajectory displacement to the left, a sensor of movement trajectory displacement to the right, a computer control device, a traction electric drive, a unit for detection of an object on a movement track, a range finder. The power transmission line is laid in soil close to the surface. The sensors are installed under the bottom of the mobile unit. The electric field intensity sensor outlet is connected to one inlet of the computer control device. The range finder is connected with another inlet of the computer control device.

EFFECT: improved technical and economic characteristics, efficiency and productivity of processes and the device.
