SUBSTANCE: invention refers to after-harvesting treatment of grain, namely, to the method of wheat cleaning from wild oats. The method includes grain treatment in a wild oat grain cleaner, which comprises a cylinder with an internal cellular surface mounted with a possibility of rotation around the axis, and a chute with a working edge arranged inside the cylinder along its axis. The diameter of the cylinder cells makes 1.1…1.2 of the maximum length of wheat seeds, at the cylinder rotation frequency of 45 rpm the working edge of the chute is arranged at the angle of 55-60° to the horizontal diameter of the cylinder, and the load is set so that losses of seeds into wastes do not exceed the permissible value according to agrotechnical requirements.

EFFECT: method according to the invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of wheat grain treatment from lengthy admixtures by 15-20%.
