FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in producing collapsible plate heat exchangers. Heat exchange plates with sealing gaskets arranged there between are stacked to produce heat exchange channels there between. Said stack is arranged between main and pressure plates on top and bottom guides. Guides are made up of cylindrical rods with threaded stems, one end of said rod being secured on plate and another end being arranged on support. Said stack is studded between said plates, studs being tightened. Studs have diameter equal to that of threaded stems. Plate stack tightened, nuts are unscrewed from guide stems. Support is dismantled to mount metal 5-6 mm-thick sleeves on cylindrical rod end on support side. Said sleeves extend beyond rod end face by 5-6 mm. Then, support is mounted again and nuts on said stems are tightened once more. Nut tightening force equals that of studs in tightening heat exchange plates.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
