FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid drives and method of their control. Proposed method comprises determining required torque and transport facility state, actuating ICE and motor drive. ICE and/or motor are actuated to ensure required torque and/or charge storage battery as required. Hybrid drive incorporates ICE, motor drive and power control unit to control both said drive in compliance with above described method.
